XL swaps to Porsche power for 2008

XL have purchased the 2006 British GT championship winning Porsche 996 GT3 Cup car to race in 2008. The car will race in Class 2 of Britcar and will be driven by Dom Evans and and as yet to be named 2nd driver.

Dom Evans said "I'm really excited about this, 2007 was a terrible season for us, engine reliabilty or lack of it cost me dear and detroyed any chances of success, I hate being uncompetitive and that is what led us to the door of Porsche. The GT3 Cup car is inconic and renowned for its high reliability and that is exactly what you need to be successful in Endurance racing, I have very high hopes that this move will see us back where we belong.....on the podium"
